Community guidelines
Travesolo works because the pins are real and people are decent to each other.
Pin real places, honestly
No fake locations, borrowed photos or pins for places you didn’t visit.
Be kind in groups and DMs
No harassment, hate, threats or sexual messages.
No spam or selling
No ads for tours, cabs or hotels, no phone numbers posted over and over, and no chain messages.
Never ask for money
No UPI advances, deposits or “booking fees”. Report anyone who asks.
Meet safely
Meet in public places, tell a friend where you’re going, and never pressure anyone to meet alone or somewhere private.
Respect privacy
Don’t share someone’s live location, number or photos without their OK.
Report what breaks these
Tap ⋯ on any pin, message or profile and choose Report. They aren’t told it was you.
Never allowed
These come down as soon as we see them, and the account can be banned on the first one.
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18. Zero tolerance. We remove it, ban the account and report it to the police and India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
- Intimate images without consent. Nude, sexual or private photos or videos of someone who didn’t agree to them being shared, real or edited.
- Nudity and sexual content. Travesolo is a travel map, not a place for nude or sexual photos, videos or messages.
- Harassment, hate and threats. Bullying, stalking, insults about religion, caste, gender or where someone is from, and threats of violence.
- Pretending to be someone else. Accounts, pins or messages that pass themselves off as another person, a business or an official.
- Other people’s photos or work. Photos, videos or text you don’t own or have the right to share.
- Threats to India’s sovereignty or public order. Content that threatens the unity, security or sovereignty of India, stirs up violence, or calls for a crime.
- Illegal goods. Selling or offering drugs, weapons, wildlife parts, fake documents or anything else that’s illegal in India.
How reports and removals work
- Report it. Tap ⋯ on any pin, message, comment, profile or group and choose Report. The person isn’t told who reported them.
- Hidden at once for the worst. A pin reported for intimate images or for putting a child at risk is hidden from everyone straight away, until a moderator has looked. If it breaks no rule, it comes back.
- Most serious first. Moderators review every report, starting with child safety, intimate images, people under 18 and unsafe meetups. Reports of intimate images are acted on within 24 hours.
- What we can do. Depending on what happened, we warn the person, remove the pin or message, freeze a group, or ban the account. Serious threats go to the police.
- What removal means. A removed pin or message stops being shown everywhere: maps, feeds, profiles, groups, notifications and share links. A removed pin’s photos and video are deleted. We keep a record of what was removed and why, so a report can still be checked.
- Your own pins. You can delete a pin, or one of its photos, from the pin’s ⋯ menu at any time.
- Disagree? Write to the app: Settings → Safety → Report a problem and a person will look again.
